See this NVIDIA CEO-Signed, Gold-Plated Asus Astral RTX 5090 Dhahab Edition GPU at Micro Center Santa Clara

When a new Micro Center opens its doors, especially in the heart of Silicon Valley, you can expect some eye-catching gear. And right now, at the brand-new Santa Clara store, there's a real showstopper: a custom Asus ROG Astral GeForce RTX 5090 Dhahab Edition GPU that's literally plated in gold.

This isn't just any high-powered GPU. Asus has encased parts of this beast in six grams of 18K gold. As if that weren't enough to make it a collectible, this particular card bears the signature of NVIDIA's CEO, Jensen Huang. According to Asus, this Dhahab Edition is a one-of-one, created specifically for a charity auction.

On display, then off to auction

But before it heads to the auction block, this gilded GPU is spending some time at the new Micro Center in Santa Clara, where it'll be on display (in a locked case, with its own security guard, naturally). After the public has several days to get a close-up look at something truly unique, Asus plans to leverage that buzz for a good cause and host a charity auction.
